The Future Proof Student

Who am I to teach this college within F.U.?

• I stayed on the conveyor belt of school
• I did everything my teachers & parents told me to do
• I got the degrees (BS, MA Ed.), the job, & the benefits
• I am now part of the “conveyor belt” of school & society

BUT…

 I am like an imperial officer on the Death Star who secretly cheers for the rebels & in-fact knows they will win! 

You guys are rebels and way smarter than me. You understand career coaching, recruiting, marketing, & content creation better than me (except TikTok, I crush you guys on there! *8 million views on one video in 5 weeks, cough, cough*). 

But I have something you need in order to actually help people get off the conveyor belt. Or better yet, just blow the conveyor belt up! You need someone on the inside who can spread the message & recruit other rebels to the cause. With one snip of a wire, I can take down the Death Star from within.

You guys are outside the Death Star, on the other side of its very powerful deflector shield, lobbing photon torpedoes at it. Which is awesome, & I will cheer for you & want you to win whether I am a part of your movement or not. However, no one within the system you are trying to change is going to embrace or even hear your message. I understand the basics of your message & know you are right, but I also understand how artificial systems like public education work because I am INSIDE the system.

I am the teacher who teaches my kids how to do my assignments with AI. I did every assignment I gave to my students last year with ChatGPT. I build custom AI tools to give my students real-time feedback & build their skills. I have students who now build their own AI tools to teach them what they WANT or NEED to learn, not what their teachers assign. Ex: I have a student who is a tech nerd & wants to be a registered nurse. He took what I taught him about AI, and over Spring Break he built his own custom bot to help him assess patients & prepare for a nursing exam.  

 This is what authentic learning looks like in the AI era, while the teacher next door is lecturing off a PowerPoint & students are scribbling notes that they could have just used Google or Microsoft CoPilot to get the information from.

My school within F.U. will teach HS & college students:

1. Why School is NOT Enough. Why you need to be learning more outside of school & what you should be focused on. Hint: If you are not using AI tools for 30 min a day, you will be behind.*

2. How to network & build connections with your peers & teachers. Snapchat & TikTok are not just for entertainment. Your current project partners, teammates, coaches, & teachers are all future bosses, colleagues, or clients.

3. How to get immediate feedback from student facing AI tools for free. Stop waiting for your teacher to give you feedback a week after you submit an assignment. Get real time feedback all through the process of learning.

4. How to position yourself as a brand. How to market yourself as the person or career you want to become, not who you are currently. Students will create a Binge Bank™️. That is a single, digital repository of all their projects, posts, videos, etc. Where can a potential employer, business partner, or even spouse go to see every video, hear every podcast episode, & read every piece of writing you have created?

Additionally, I have a Kajabi subscription, my own site, and have run a Mastermind based on the Kajabi Community feature. We did Sunday afternoon live video broadcasts with guest experts, then I curated the content within the community, edited & posted the live broadcast as a private YouTube video for those who missed it live, moderated the community, & built email marketing sequences for members.

You definitely want to create a space for F.U. members to network, interact, & feel a sense of belonging with like-minded rebel talents. Since Kajabi is your platform, it would only make sense to use the community feature on Kajabi as well, & I am happy to use my experience with it & teacher skills to create the content, groups, weekly challenges, etc.

I have some current and former NFL coaches & players who will collaborate with an F.U. college for their peers making a career pivot.

• Broke both wrists in an NFL pre-season game & now your playing career is over?
• Not getting paid to tackle people on Sundays anymore…so what do I do for the next 30 years?
• No longer an NFL coach…now what?

I would also love to help with a “college” within F.U. that is specifically built for teachers. Whether that is a one-time live video, or something more fleshed out, I entrust that to your judgment. I work with some very smart teachers who see the writing on the wall & want off the Death Star too, they just don’t know how. I know you & your F.U. effort can help, and I want them to have an opportunity to connect with it.

But Aaron... high school & college kids are eating uncooked Ramen & drinking Natty Light (or whatever is the bottom shelf beer these days)... HOW CAN WE SELL THIS TO THEM?

We sell it to parents who know the conveyor belt is not preparing their kids. This gets them on our platform and in Future Proof University for life. For the same amount your 17 year old spends on DoorDashing one Starbucks drink, they could have access to world class career & skills content! Every kid has mommy/daddy's credit card in their Apple Pay & can pay their Spotify subscription monthly, so they can get the top of funnel FPU courses.

We sell it to schools who currently drop thousands of dollars per year in subscribing to the dumpster fire of over-simplified, cliche ridden, snake oil that is Dave Ramsey's curriculum. States are starting to drop a 3rd algebra based math in favor of financial literacy. There are also tons of grants for schools to purchase things like this.
